1. AAAAAAARGGGGGGH!!
I hate, Hate, HATE "I could care less"! People! Listen to what you are SAYING!

If you are completely bored by or disinterested in something, then you "COULDN'T care less"!

Okay?!?!?

2. EXACTLY!!!
If you could care less, you would! The whole point of the phrase is to convey total disinterest, that you wouldn't waste another minute of your time on it. But saying "could care less" means there is still an opportunity for something to get your attention. Get it?

(yep, one of my pet peeves as well).

another would be "me & her are going to the store." AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! Who can give me the correct grammer?

4. Well, if we was going to the store, we would of tooken my brother, to
:hide:

How's that for a jackpot? Sad thing is, I could post that on almost any board, anywhere on the internets, and the vast majority of people wouldn't see anything wrong with it.

Made my skin crawl to even type it. Hell, made my skin crawl to even think it.

5. eeewww shudder!
I know what you mean. My sister is such a grammar nut that she would find cards to send that had poor grammar. She would correct them in red and send them out. It's gotten to the point where if we don't get a "corrected" card, we feel slighted! :silly:

7. Oh, I think I like your sister.
A lot.

When I was in high school, I'd correct the grammar on the notes that my friends passed me in class before I returned them with my own note. And once, when my dad was in 'Nam, he sent me a letter (well, he wrote more than once). I corrected it and returned the corrected version.

He was less than pleased. I didn't do it again.

9. I could care less, but why bother?
Either way, I know what the person is trying to say. I worry more about what people MEAN than what words they use to express that meaning.

11. The intent of the poll is ironical but
I could see an argument for "I care so little that I couldn't care less." This may be another inappropriate application of mathematics to English usage (like the double negative rule), but it makes a degree of sense. Full disclosure though: I could care less. :D

10. Since I truly care so much...
All I can do is care less. I couldn't possibly care more.

Nor could I go on living without caring. That would make me care free.

oops. There's the door. Here comes my UPS secret crush lady with another CARE package for me. If only she knew... the lady in brown. I do care for her so...
