Why don't men shave their armpits?
Don't get me wrong - I think hairy men are sexy, but not armpits. There would be less body odor, and I would think it would be extremely uncomfortable to wear a shirt if you have a huge tuft of hair under your arms. OK, if you don't want to shave your pits, could you at least trim them?

33. Nope - less hair = less surface area
and less surface area means less evaporative cooling. Therefore it would take more sweat/moisture to cool the person.

13. I have often wondered if there is any truth
to the notion that athletes are more aerodynamic if they shave every hair off their bodies. Many of them claim they perform better in their sports, if they do.

I have always said that if men don't shave, it's called a beard and mustache. If women don't shave, we get called "uncouth" or something like that. Odd, huh?

I know the question is about men, but I wonder how much a complete body shave would cost if someone, ok me, was too lazy to do it themselves.

23. Why shave anything?
I could never understand why anyone would wany to put a blade to one's skin for no real good reason.

No, hairy pits, arms or legs on the ladies are not off-putting to me. It'd take a little work but I'm sure I could get used to moustaches too.

No, I've never shaved.

29. It is a good idea for swimmers
Otherwise it can get twisted/knotted up. A trim can take care of that if shaving is too freaky for someone, but really it is just a preference. I'm not sure why so much cultural gravitas is attached to things like this except of course that is our American obsession.

30. when training for marathons in the Florida heat...
I shave the pits and, um, the lower region because...

1. When you sweat, it doesn't sit there like a sponge.
2. Long runs require some lube to avoid abrasions, and removing the hair makes things glide easier
3. My wife thinks it's funny (little does she know that I use her razor).

He's a great manipulator and probably the best player of all time for any reality tv show.

Everyone hated him, he was on the block every week, he was obnoxious yet he was able to convince people to do things out of their normal character and he won for it. He makes Brian Heidik and Richard Hatch look like amateurs.
