1. Mindless? Are you crazy?

A friend at work turned me on to it, by describing it perfectly - "it's a white Good Times".

4. I saw Louis CK @ Caroline's Friday night.

I thought his routine was crass- I had never seen the show, but got back to my hotel that night and watched. Thought the tv show was crass too. Went to a different comedy club in the Village last night. Almost every comedian there was infantile and mean spirited (and crass). I won't be going to another comedy club in a hurry.

My idea of funny is the Daily show or the Colbert Report ( which I will see live next Thursday). Most of the comics I saw this past weekend covered their lack of talent with total vulgarity and seemed to need to say "dick" over and over and over. It was like listening to a bunch of six graders who just discovered dirty words. Boring and really stupid.

5. Don't get me wrong

I LOVE this show...
My daughter told us about it and we watched an episode then had to go to HBO on demand to watch the ones we missed....
Its great.
I think its more like an updated Honeymooners.....
Now they are "confessing" to each other

6. Maybe I am missing the point but I cannot stand that show

It looks incredibly amateurish for an HBO show. Bad writing, bad acting, which actually surprises me since HBO usally does a good job, although I never got into The Wire or Rome either.
