12. They list Kansas City on their site for Steel Wheels
but not Columbia. Funny, huh?

And I remember it being Steel Wheels I went to. You can tell by the way I dressed that it was 1989. I used to have the t shirt and everything w/ the Columbia date on it.

1989 sounds exactly right

15. I had the Long Island girl hair.
Long, big and poofy. Not a single hair left its place because of all the Aquanet sprayed into it.

I also had acid washed jeans pinched rolled in place and my shirt sleeves rolled up exactly twice.

You lucked out on third row. I was toward the back and felt lucky as a teen to get the spot.

Want Stones tickets? Here's how to scare them up
By LAURA RITTER
Tribune Staff Writer

Rolling Stones tickets may not go on sale until Monday,
but it's never too early to get ready.

The Oct. 4 concert in Missoula, believed to be the Stones'
first in Montana, is expected to sell out fast.
An Oct. 8 concert in Regina, Saskatchewan,
reportedly sold out in about 30 minutes last week.

7. I lived in Wichita for 13 years
I was always shocked if ANYONE came to perform in town besides Def Leppard and Barry Manilow.

8. Owen Field used to be the bane
of high school marching bands statewide. Half the band could line up in one end zone and the other half in the other end zone, and we couldn't see one another because of the rise in the middle. But I bet that's been fixed by now. ;)

From what I was told, they want to concentrate on small venues this time around.
