Because "Allahua Akbar" (or "God is great") is a relatively common Muslim phrase that is used in everyday prayers.

Now on the other hand, someone preparing for martyrdom is more likely to say "There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is His Prophet". So if you say THAT on a plane, prepare to get your ass kicked. Or shot if there's a trigger happy sky marshall on board.

10. Depends. If you said it just before the elections, you'd become a major

news story and part of an imminent terrorist plot meant to hijack five planes and crash them into the New York subway system. If you said it at any other time, people would glare at you, and any actual Muslims on the plane would correct your grammar and pronounciation, and hopefully lecture you about furthering racist stereotypes for amusement purposes.
