I love olives

and so does my cat. I apparently spilled a little olive brine on my skirt, and as I type this he's frantically licking the fabric.

He did, and I put a ripe olive on it.

He was just totally non-plussed.
Looked at it.
Shook his hand.
The olive stayed on his finger.
Shook it some more.
Like a cat with wet paws.
It stayed on.

He looked at me with this absolutely PLEADING expression.
"GET IT OFF!"
I did.

Can't get enough of them. In fact, I just swallowed one that was stuffed with blue cheese. Green, black, almond-stuffed, onion-stuffed, just put them in front of me and they'll disappear.

eat 'em plain -- or a little rosemary, a little garlic a little lemon juice and rind -- all mashed up and then to meet the chicken!

pushed under the skin and into the cavity -- yummy!
