Computer did "spontaneous" shut-down.
I had to run out to the store for a few minutes and left my computer on.
Got back and it was off.
???

Turned on the TV and it was on channel 2.
We have Dish and receive on channel 4.
If the TV loses power (as opposed to just turning it off) it reverts to channel 2.
???

Hmmm...must've had a little power failure while I was gone.

A few minutes Miz t. came in from grass cutting.
"I ran over an extension cord. It was in the high grass and I didn't see it."
"Was it plugged in?"
"Yep."
"Trip a breaker?"
"Yep, but I re-set it."

AHA!
Mystery solved.
;-)
