The problem is that I grew up in Houston (3d grade - High school) but every time I say I'm from Houston w....well,it just sounds so weird, like I must be talking about somebody else. :shrug:

I left Houston after I finished high school, but as much as I dislike living here it is home.

I was born here so I do have a connection, I am living in my old childhood neighborhood.

My cousin who lives in Houston was born here in Denton. I have lived in Mississippi, Maryland, Virginia,(worked in
DC) . and Washington state, but I've always been coming home. ... to Texas
