I adopted a new kitty today
(knowing that this is a kitty thread, I'm prepared to get alot of responces! :P :D )

He's a 2 year old male who's given name is "Tigger", but I thought that was lame so I wanted to name him Atticus but my mom was like "NOOOO I LIKE TIGGER!!". Whatever. Atticus will always be the best.

I'll post pics sometime later, kay?

1. Being adopted by three older cats, I am so happy you got an adult
I tipe this with my fat man pICASSO LAYING ON MY LEFT HAND AND causing the keys to change. It's his idea of a vibrating bed.

2. Haha, aw, thats so cute!
One of my cats used to like to try and walk on the keyboard. Sometimes she would even try to walk on the piano keys on the piano in the living room!

4. Aw, awesome!
I thought it was doing a service to the cat to adopt an older one instead of a kitten. It's like adopting a pre-teen instead of an infant...the older they are, the less likely they're gonna get good homes...

6. Yes. That's wonderful of you.
My sister once went and deliberately adopted the ugliest cat she could find.

5. I had that happen one time.

My aunt wanted to call this one tortoiseshell kitten "Hampton." I wanted to call her "Joan," because her brother was named "Jett." My aunt eventually won but I always remembered that I wanted to call her "Joan." My uncle called her "Booger." :eyes: So, it could have been worse.

Congrats on your new adoption. :)

7. Hey TT! Tigger sounds great! Atticus is OK but Tigger is better!
My first ever kitty was a male tabby named Tiger Kitty! Gawd! I loved that cat!

10. Haha you're like my mom!
:P

Aww, my first cat was Annick or something (it's French so I don't know how to spell it :P). She was a sweet black cat, but unfortunantely, my dad got her in the divorce agreement and verbally abused her. Poor thing. & then gave her away :( :(

16. That's wonderful!
I think that's great that you adopted an older one... it's true they won't find homes as fast as the kittens :(
