Indy racing legends, the Unser brothers were arrested yesterday in Albuquerque, N.M. , after sheriff's deputies said Al Unser Sr. and Bobby Unser ignored orders to leave an area where authorities had cornered a carjacking suspect.

The Bernalillo County sheriff's department said the suspect led police on a high-speed pursuit while shooting at them Wednesday morning. The man reportedly crashed into a car on the city's west side shortly after and then shot himself.

During the standoff, authorities had to block off the road named after the Unser family.
