Coolest looking spaceship
I know this is a retread from DU1, but it gives me an excuse to post a pic:

Narn G´Quan Class Heavy Cruiser from B5

1. Still think the Shadows are the best looking ship...
but most of the ships from the main races in B5 are awesome.

2. I loved B5
B5 is one of the best science fiction shows ever. It moves between #2 and #3 on my all time favorite list. Number 1 will always be Lexx. Either B5 or DS9 move into the number 2 spot depending on which one is running in reruns and I can watch again.

5. A starship I was designing because I was bored one day

I know it's VERY derivative of just about every Trek ship ever made, and it ain't a beauty shot (no windows, lights, etc.) but I like it. Hope you enjoy it too.

Designed in 3DS Max 4.0. It's just basically a bunch of primitives chunked together and texturized. No real talent involved.

12. Hay, maybe you could do my Razer Rabit
I designed this one to take the places of the Starfleet Standerd Trainers. But they make preaty good shuttles too. I have a shetch, just looking for some one to draw it up.

7. All of them are good, but they don't hold a candle to this one.
Right? :-)

8. The Tardis always seemed to me to be more like...
a mobile home...probably because that's what it was. It didn't really feel like a spaceship, mainly because of the cool bigger-on-the-inside thing.

9. B5 ships definitely take the cake
But I've also taken a liking to the ships in The Red Star series from Archangel:

16. Klingon D7s

I just love the pugilistic appearance of the earlier Klingon warships.

Wasn't there another thread similar to this around here somewhere?

Beyond movies/TV, the Homeworld series of games does a beautiful job of displaying it's ships. I play it sometimes just to see the eye candy. Here's a page with some screen shots that honestly show what the game looks like while playing. Enjoy:
