I'm going to a World Party concert tomorrow!
They're going to be at the Aladdin Theater in Portland :woohoo:

One of my favorite bands ever -- back in action, baby!

Now this is a lexicon of great songs:

Way Down Now
Ship of Fools
Message in the Box
Is it Like Today?
Is it Too Late?
Private Revolution
etc. etc.

I'm so excited! :toast: :bounce:

3. I know. And it makes me so sad because
we thought things were bad then. Hah!! Little did we know how horribly, terribly, freakishly wrong things would go, particularly after December of 2000. :(

4. Yeah...
.. but to put it in a kind of sendero perspective, what we're enduring now is merely a continuation of what Reagan started....

5. Very true.
I was only 14 in 1980, but I remember thinking that surely people would come to their senses soon and realize what a horrible president Reagan was and how terribly twisted the rightwing ideology was. Boy, if I knew then what I know now ... :(
