I'm back and I have a few things to say

After a 2 week absence due to moving and getting re-hooked to the internet, I am now back on DU. I have a few comments on recent news stories.

1. Cynthia McKinney was a pain in the ass and I'm glad she has been disposed of by the Democrats in her district. It's all fine and good to be a rabble-rouser, as she is, but there is still an expectation that a member of Congress conduct him/herself with class and professionalism. Russ Feingold is a good example of this.

2. Remember those "Sore Loserman" signs from the post-2000 election? I guess the Republicans were half right. Such a shame that Lieberman did not have that same fighting spirit during the 2000 campaign and standoff.

3. I think Lamont will win by about 5 points. He has the money, momentum and Bush is very unpopular in Connecticut, even among Independents.

4. I'm sick and tired of hearing about the IsraelLebanonHezbollah war. I just don't want to hear about it anymore. I kind of feel like we don't really have a dog in that fight. We have problems here at home, anyway.
