1. Cool, lucky you!
It's an ironic thing that of all my friends and family, I who live in the Silicon Valley, am the only one who does NOT have cable and still has dial-up. Luck of the draw - I live in the hills, I don't have the southern exposure needed for satellite, cable doesn't come up here, DSL is not available but I'm only ten minutes from town.

I don't really care about the cable but the dial-up regularly frustrates me. Price I pay for living in a beautiful spot.
