Did you enjoy the full moon last night? In the early part of the night it was hanging low and looked a beautiful shade of orange! I could have sat outside and just stared at it for hours.





I'm only going to be with you for another 45 minutes or so. Therefore if somebody wants to take over greetings and salutations after that I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, everything's fine, thanks. The piano tuning went great! Nice man, nice eye candy. :evilgrin: He did a good job for a fair price. Can't ask for more than that! :bounce: Yes, I play, but I haven't been practicing so I'm VERY rusty. But he played after he was done and it was GREAT! He played a song I can't remember the name of and then he played the Tennessee Waltz and said, "Welcome to Tennessee!" :rofl:

Not to worry -- I can handle questions in the morning.

How are you doing? :loveya: :hug: I read in the paper yesterday that airlines are getting ready to lower fares for the slow season. That could be good news ... except they usually do it for more popular destinations.

That would be great. I did check last night for fares to TN but they're still running around the $300+ mark, but I'll keep looking. You never know when they need to fill that one last seat!

I admire anyone that can play the piano, or any instrument for that matter. Takes a lot of dedication and talent.

You can get a flight here for $300+? That's actually a good deal ... especially if you're flying into TRI. It cost more than that to bring harleykid from TRI to FLL two years ago.

It takes talent to play and dedication to play well. I have a little of both, but just a little. And I have small hands, which makes it pretty frustrating at times. :shrug:

get flights less expensive. Saw some flights to Atlanta for only the $200 mark. I'll keep looking and hope that something will turn up soon.

How are you this morning. All I can think about right now is that I can sleep in tomorrow, and I can come here and post in my jammies. Ahhhhhh . . . doesn't take much to make me happy.

Had a hard time dragging myself out of bed, and I don't know why. Certainly had enough sleep. Maybe we all start dragging at the end of the week.

I have a hard time myself these days to get out of bed. Of course I could come in later but that would mean I would have to work longer in the afternoon. And I don't want that, so I come in a bit early.

23. Yeah, I worked

last Saturday, so I asked my boss if I could have comp time on Friday rather than use up my vacation. I know other departments do it. It's not an "official" policy, but I think fair is fair. I put in a lot of extra hours without pay.

The book sounds intriguing. Is it difficult to keep Andy's souls straight? I'm still reading "Heart of Darkness", but hope to finish this weekend. Haven't had much time to read lately. I do listen to books on CD in the car, so at least I get some "reading" done.

He is coming to Frankfurt on Saturday. I told him in a note that my apt. is off limit at the first date. He is going to meet a friend Sunday in Frankfurt and I don't want to be a cheap accomodation. I had bad experiences with that. He hasn't answered that note yet (but I know he hasn't had a chance to read it yet). If he can't deal it, he ain't the right man.

Best to just meet him somewhere to see what he's like. If it works out, you can always take him back to your place.

I am ever the romantic! I knew the full moon was going to be here on Tuesday so I busted my ass (literally) to be here and watch it with Phil. I was so happy that it was an early moon rise. Phil has a 9 PM bedtime so we were able to see it together before we kissed goodnight and he headed home for the night. He hates getting up at 3:30 every morning! He always was the night owl and watched me sleeping for years before we went our separate ways. I would slip out of bed early in the morning to do a bit of gardening. Now our roles are reversed as I have become the night owl. Thank heavens for my good friends at DU who keep me company in the lonely late night hours!

We were browsing through tattoo magazines at Borders last night when he reacted to something I said with: "Are you getting possessive?" After I explained my statement I added that being possessive is a waste of time. :shrug: But ... He is the one who wants my full attention and is jealous of my time spent on DU. It's a good thing that we are spending most of our nights alone. We have many months ahead of us to learn to understand each other's thoughts. We both have mild little issues regarding our reasons for breaking up. Until last night he had no idea that he wasn't the only one who is still slightly troubled by mistakes we both made when we were together. That was then. This is now. It's time to let those feelings go or put them on the table and talk it out. We should both get over it and go on with today before we needlessly screw up our tomorrows.
