Had a wonderful interview today. Do you think it was The Suit?

I AGONIZE over dress shoes. I wear 11EEEE. :wow: I ordered 12 EE because all they had in 11 was EE and I was afraid those wouldn't be wide enough. Well, these are wide enough but so long they wouldn't stay on my feet. I wore two pairs of sweat socks under two pairs of trouser socks to get them to fit. :blush:

Do you think they look good? I hate dress shoes, hate wearing them, hate shopping for them. And I hate dressing up.

The shoes are nice too. I know how hard it is to find shoes in a larger size (I'm a 9 1/2 W myself, which is more than rediculous considering that I'm only 5'2") and those look fine, even if the fit wasn't what you'd hoped.

BTW . . . If you look VERY closely at my chin, the half in the sun, you might see the beginning of a new scar. :( Daddy the Cat was in my lap on Monday night. Something scared him badly and he bolted, and took a good portion of my flesh with him on at least ten claws. The gash in my chin is the worst. I really hope I didn't get points off for that.

I'm gonna have a Harrison Ford chin. ;)

That shirt looked even better IRL - the suit & shoes are a lovely shade of tan. I like the blue w/ that even better than w/ white, which is how it looks in the photo.
