lol, i just took out my student loans for this year...
...it isn't so bad at 6K, but I owe Citibank now 20,000.

It should be paid off my 2014, when I'm like 30 :D

2. I did some fooling around w/ repayment plans...
...at 10% of my gross income @ 30K a year (which is the expected salary I should be getting).

So it isn't THAT bad.

30,000 year=17,000 after taxes
17,000 = 11,500 after rent
11,500 = 5,000 after food
5,000=4,000 after 401k (save dammit! Start early)

4000/year in misc expenses including student loan should cover you.

Given you live in a city and dont need a car, your actually going to do well w/30k in student loans on 30k a year.
Of course if you dont live in a city, well, thats different.

7. no, it is a completely legal procedure (loophole)
and keeps uncle sam from bricking your check (in the event that you have no ends with which to pay them).
