Did anyone inform Hillary of her travel plans with Lindsay Lohen?

I don't know what to even think of this one but I'm guessing that Sen. Clinton probably had no clue about these travel plans and if she was travelling to Iraq would take someone a bit more stable than Lindsay Lohen

Lohan Wants to Visit U.S. Troops in Iraq

NEW YORK (AP) - Lindsay Lohan says she wants to go to Iraq with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and entertain American troops there.

"I've been trying to go to Iraq with Hillary Clinton for so long. Hillary was trying to work it out, but it seemed too dangerous," the 20-year-old actress says in an interview in the September issue of Elle magazine, on newsstands Wednesday.

From the Clinton office:

A spokesman for the senator offered a slightly different take on Lohan's contact with the New York Democrat's office.

"It was suggested to her that if she wanted to go, she could pursue doing so through the USO," said spokesman Philippe Reines.

Lindsay's mom said it was the extreme heat that was playing a toll on Lindsay's asthma. But what about the fact that Ms. Lohan is a smoker too? I would think that has an even worse affect on her

7. yeah, I saw it

because it was up on TSG at the same time that Mel 'the hater' Gibson spewed his drunken rant and they left that hollywood b.s. up instead of linking to the leaked police report. They eventually put up the mug shot but only referred to his confrontation with the cop as 'slur-filled.' I can't figure out to save my life why they took such a dive on that story. Still bothers me when I think about it.

Monroe.

Marilyn Monroe was notorious for not showing up to the studio or running late for scheduled filming. And Ms. Monroe was pretty much screwed up with the drugs she was taking too

Seriously, though, it would do the troops, and maybe Loan, a lot of good for such a trip to take place. I have no idea whether any of the stories about her are true, but a view into a lifestyle of sacrifice and service might be good for her. She's talented, intelligent, and seems to want to be more serious than she is. More public service might be just what she needs.
