I'm sitting in a 4 star hotel overlooking the beach all for $59.00 a day.
I found my winter home through a web search.

I don't think I'll mind the trip back home but the Tracker is bad bad bad for my old body. I found all of my ouches today. Can I request a few new body parts, my hips and ass are very tired.

BTW The truck needs to go back in for a repair. It has a front end shimmy/bounce in the front end at 35 mph. My house mate offered to drop it off.

I looked through rentals in the local newspaper on-line. I was getting so discouraged but I was determined even if it meant renting an unfurnished apartment without a lease and bringing down some of the excess stuff from my home. Then the only thing I would have needed to buy is a new bed. I'm so happy that I'm only moving Frodo's cage and play gym! The mobile home (btw When did everyone stop calling them trailers?) is in a safe neighborhood. It is a gated community with two pools. I'm going to ship my trike down.

I'm gonna have a tan and swim outside all winter long. I won't be looking at snow this year!



unless NY has an early snowfall like it did the first winter I moved upstate. We had 17 inches of snow on October 17th which closed the school I was working in for a week. I'm surprised that I've lasted 19 years :wow: up there.

I'll be missed by my northern family. It seems there is a bit of bittersweet that goes along with the joy but I believe this will be the best thing for me. I fear that my winter hibernation will shorten my life which suddenly isn't okay anymore. For many years I truly have been existing through the cold painful months waiting for the warmth of springtime to return.
