anyone speak Russian?
Edited on Tue Aug-08-06 09:36 PM by fleabert
I'd love to know what this t-shirt says, I can imagine, but want to know for sure...

edit- crap, I can't resize it larger... basically it says D R E (heart) M I

I can guess that it's supposed to be english for Dreamy, but not sure if that's the case...maybe there is a russian word that works as well for this cartoonish saying. ? not sure if it's actually an I at the end either, bit fuzzy in the original.

4. Ya gavaryu mala pa-russki
The letters you describe are not in the Cyrillic alphabet. If it was supposed to be a transliteration of the sounds in "dreamy," it would look like: ДРИМИ -- which has no meaning in Russian.

I just spent a month in Russia, and they had a lot of "English" words on clothes that didn't have any meaning, or meant something entirely other than what the wearer intended. :D

I wondered if there was a a sound translation similar to the english, but wasn't sure. thanks for reading my mind! I guess it's supposed to be dreamy, makes some sense for a toddlers shirt I guess.
