Teeth: prime argument against intelligent design.
If people really were built from the blueprints of a giant invisible man in the sky, teeth wouldn't need to be constantly repaired and their warranties wouldn't run out before the warranty on the rest of the body.

Either that or "God" outsourced the contract on tooth production. Probably to a sweatshop in China. Say, why can't you buy teeth at Wal-Mart? They're about on par with the rest of Wal-Mart quality.

Did you know they just came out with their own line of fine Walmart Clothing?

Couldn't they like, rotate to our backs when not in use so they wouldn't get in the way all the time? Or, geez, I don't know... like, make them removable or something?

Even when you take of care of them - brush, floss, semi-annual cleanings, etc - the damn things still literally go to pieces on you. I was munching on some chocolate this evening and zing goes a filling. So, tomorrow, Doc Feel Good and his Big Ole Needle of Novocain - o joy.:banghead:

11. No, actually, it went fine.
It's just that when you're lying there with your mouth propped open with a couple people drilling inside it, strange thoughts come to mind...must be all the blood rushing to the brain or something. :D

16. What sucks is when all the spit pools at the back of your mouth,
but you can't swallow because your tongue would get in the way of the drill, which would be bad.

20. That was another strange thought I had.
I found it funny, but if you laugh, then your tongue gets in the way of the drill too, so you can't, which adds to the "is it over yet?" factor.

I couldn't talk for a while afterward, which was a little irritating. I like to talk. :D

29. Oh, I can talk fine now.
There's a little twinge if I poke around up there with my tongue, but nothing else.

I don't even really care about the needle. My dentist's good about it and you can barely feel anything even though there's a gigantic spike in your gum for a minute or so,

And talk away I shall! :D

31. I think she's got too many model numbers
Most of DU has the later models, after the kinks were worked out. Free Republic was originally a recall site for older, defective brains, but so many of them refused the upgrade that She abandoned the site, and all Hell took over.

Kind of makes you ask the question, though. If they invented a pill to cure conservatism, would conservatives want to take it, or do they have the mental capacity to understand they are sick?
