At least for a couple days. Looks like the %#@$^&* hot water heater has left us for the scrap heap in the sky.

Strange you have to take a cold shower in a heat wave. The irony of modern life, I guess.
I have to keep hosing down one of my dogs because he thinks a thunderstorm is a great big invisible dog and he runs the fence line the whole time it is storming; he has a special 'storm pen' I put him in on those occasions which is every day lately, with all the afternoon thunderstorms. Oh, the point: it seems like it takes forever to get the water from the hose to cool down cold enough to hose him down so he doesn't over heat. Too bad you don't have a camping shower you can use.
