Wow the finance market is getting really competitive
I just got a junk mail from a bank offering a loan up to £25K over 5 years at 6.1% :o

Don't need a loan, though. File that under 'b' for bin. :)

1. Just what the British economy needs.
More unsecured personal debt - we really don't have anywhere near enough of it.

And if we all say "there's a new economy" enough times then we can ignore the current stagflation, and only the poor sods on the Bank of England M.P.C. will get worried about it.

Put another way - B is the best place for it...though if it had your name and address printed on it, S for shredder might be another place. :paranoid: :hi:

2. That's right. We don't need to do anything productive
so long as we can keep on borrowing money and buying each other's houses! :bounce:

:D

3. Brilliant statement, billy.
I think that's how we measure the strength of our economy over here, along with how many houses started construction--never mind all the empty ones in the cities.

8. You need a UK keyboard for that
They've jiggled a few of the keys around to make room for it, so a few of them (like " and # and ~) are in different places to yours. It was most confounding when I was trying to post from yvr girl's computer.
