I went to Lousiville KY last week.
Nice town, fairly well kept. LARGE numbers of Hispanics, yet I saw VERY FEW black people. Eerie.

Good Comedy club.

BUT THE AIR WAS LIKE BREATHING HOT CHUNKY CHICKEN SOUP. Yikes.

1. I lived in Louisville for three years.
I think your analogy to the air quality is the most fitting I have ever heard.
:hi:

2. I felt like I had come down with asthma.
Cough, cough, cough...and my lungs RATTLED. I sounded like a sewer.

Reminded me of my sentence served in Houston.

4. I actually developed allergies and asthma during my
time there. I was a NYC born and bred girl, that thick KY air killed my concrete jungle lungs.

Is Houston as bad as that? Never been there in the summer.

5. Houston air is almost toxic.
I developed allergies so bad, that before I started taking shots every other day I had an 8 hour sneezing fit that left my sinuses BLEEDING.

The sunsets over Pasedena (or sunrise, depending where you are) are GREEN.

7. You were just in a different part of town, I imagine.
Comedy Caravan's alright. Doug Stanhope's coming here soon. And yes, the air is godawful. I'm not positive, but I think the water vapor off the Ohio River is brown. Give word next time you're coming to the 'Ville.

8. In about 2 weeks (if I still work here!)
Saw Augie Smith last week at the Caravan: almost split a gut. Ate at Mike Linniq's early in the day, but before the show ate at a Spanish themed Grill on Bardstown road. Nice, but let the Gay Guys wait on you. The 18 something girl moved like she was on valium, and I didn't want to race through the food because I had to wait 10 minutes just to get a Modelo Negro. Good food, though.

PM with a number and I'll call.
