Don't you hate it when your work environment starts to SUCK?
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 08:10 PM by devilgrrl
My place of employment is really starting to suck ass - guess I should start looking for another job. You know what? It's bullshit when all you want to do is work and do the best you can but get treated like shit for it.

This world is fucked.

:nuke:

3. I think you missed the magic attention getting word of the night, which is
apparently, "cranky"

I empathize, but other than that, I really don't know what to say... just that yeah, it does suck.

2. that sucks.
I'm unemployed except for a job I work 2 hours a week. But I know what you mean. Every job I've had has been about politics...EVERY job, no exceptions, except the ones where I clean buildings because I work by myself. I am a damn hard worker, and can work without supervision, but I suck at kissing ass and 'playing well with others' which is why I'm out of a job.

To me it's harder work to do the stuff that people who get ahead on jobs do. It's easier for me to actually just do my job and expect to get props for it. But the system isn't set up that way.

4. I absolutely despise it.
And in my business, it's hard not to take it personally, and feel like a total failure. :banghead:

5. I hear you!
I have hit the point that I am going to really looking for another job. The people at the top keep changing so I think that it is getting better, but it never does.
