I have been using high-speed RR for years @ $40/month. Today I got the VOIP cable phone (digital phone) system. I ditched Vonage (long story). As I was talking w/ the installer he mentioned that I could go to RR Light? I said "Isn't that slower?" He winked; I got the picture. Called Road Runner and talked w/ Sales and of course the sales person tried to keep me at my present "package." I asked him to compare RR Light(which is $16.00/month and my present bill. Well, I switched to RR Light and now I have VOIP, Internet and basic Cable TV for $100/month. Did it all over the phone.
BTW, to all you Vonage users, Brighthouse RR cable phone has an 8-hour battery so that if power is lost, the phone will stay active for 8 hours.
And no, there is NO difference in speed.
Woo Hoo!
