1. This is incredibly cool...
...to go from 120 losses to this in three years...in a city with a great baseball tradition. And not one of these guys could be regarded as a superstar, except maybe for IRod, and his best years are past...none of these guys would be considered for the all-Tiger team, or even the second team. They're just playing as a team, and Leyland is acting like the reincarnation of John McGraw or something. This is very good for baseball, and I hope the Royals and Pirates are able to follow suit soon...

3. I'd be all for the Tigers in the world series...
I dont think my Angels will get the job done this year, unfortunately.

Actually, my ideal world series this year would be Tigers - Mets.
