It will get you out of the house and away from the cursed television demon. I was on a down spiral last fall and volunteering to help people worse off than myself made me appreciate just how good my life was. My choice was one of the local AIDS hospices. I made so many friends. Both staff and patients. Letting go of the patients was hard. Still is. But it's a great feeling to know that one can make a difference to somebody who has been abandoned by family and friends because of a stupid stigma. I really encourage you to try volunteer work. It's very rewarding.
