Wal-mart has lower prices? I don't think so:
Motorola RAZR m3: $269 (full price) at Verizon Store. $327 at Wal-mart.

Other phones seemed rather pricier at walmart too.

(the new-service discounts seemed a bit lower, but who looks at those?)

1. My sister got her razr from Verizon for $100 then a $50 rebate
No new contract. Customers have a little more leverage thanks to number portability. For some reason it was cheaper for them to sell her a base model phone and then the razr as an upgrade, so we have a little nokia just sitting forlornly in a box waiting to be activated should some other phone around here fall in the line of duty.
