I drank a McEwan's Scotch Ale for the first time last night
Thought it was cool. Smooth, not too sweet, nice flavor and feel. I drank a second one tonight, from the same six pack. Tasted a bit stale, not as crisp, and a little bitter. What gives? Was this some taste in mouth, or can beers from the same six pack taste that different?

2. I'm not a multi-brew imbiber.
I tend to go one at a time, two if I'm with a group, sometimes. I never get drunk, I just like to take the edge off.

4. I haven't heard of that! Do they distribute it out of state?

And how have you been? I've seen you around, but I haven't seen updates on your sheetrock and housing woes in months.

5. I don't know if they export it like the others
I am sure you could order it. It is way better than the other Abita ales, IMO.

I have a new roof, but that's it (and it leaks dammit and destroyed my bed!). After firing two contractors I paid a third (all my money) to do interior work two months ago, but they haven't started to do the work and won't return my numerous calls... I hope they haven't run off with the money, like what has happened to many other victims here in New Orleans. So, I still have gaping holes in the ceiling where dirt and roaches come in 24/7. I might as well sleep on the ground in the back yard. :eyes:

6. I drive through there once a month, if I can't find it here I'll grab some
next time.

What part of town are you in?
