I am a total dog magnet....is anyone else this way???

Attended my sister's block party today. Her dog stuck very closely to me. Sat on my feet whenever he could. Rudely pushed my hand when the petting stopped for one thing or another. Others tried to attract his attention so they could pet him. He ignored them. Were he not 12 years old and suffered a torn ligament a few years ago that has left him less mobile than before, he probably would have jumped up on my lap. It was a bit too far for him, but he can still get onto his favorite chair in the house.

Anyway, the animal sawbones have discovered some kind of tumor under his tail and it is to be removed on Wednesday. I hope this dog is okay, because I would miss him like hell. It is a mutual admiration society.

He is a wonderful dog. A Brittany Spaniel. He looks like this pretty much.

AKC name is MacDougal, but he is called Doogie for Doogie Hauser. Twelve years ago, my nephew loved the program.

7. Dogs seem to go bonkers when I'm around...

I have to say I do love dogs. They are so happy and excited and loving. I can't wait to get one.
