A flatbed hauler had the words "The Blessed Hellride" painted on the back of his truck. I thought I was the only trucker who liked that band. I can't think of a better description of the job that millions of trucking men and women do every day. "The Blessed Hellride" is my slogan for life.
I'm doing well. The new job is kicking my ass right now, but things are getting better. I got to go out west for the first time in 7 years on my last trip. I also got to Canada on that trip. It's been a wild ride.
I have yet to get a ride with no A/C on my new job. I have another thread here in the lounge that is a brief description on the job. Nobody seems to care, though. That's alright I know how that is.

He had over 3 Million miles wracked up. And that was just with Roadway. He drove for TransCon before then. I know how hard your job is. Take care, drive safe! :hi: Duckie
Your dad had a great job. I got a job for life like he had although I'm afraid mine is a lot more physical. I don't know if I will make it 30 years, but maybe I can make it 20 and still have a good pension.
