White Rock

I forgot, on the evening of the day I walked around Vancouver (see here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x5464529) yvr girl and I went to White Rock. The place is so named because of this:



which is, undisputably, a fucking great big white rock. What the smeg it is doing there on the beach, I have no idea. :crazy:

8. I've been there. I daresay it was a tad more chilly the day I visited.

I'd say the temperature that day hovered between "really fucking cold" and "so this is what the inside of an icecube feels like".

That's a lovely picture of the big, white rock. To provide some scale, I'd say that thing is at least 20-25 feet tall.

She's 91 but could probably outwalk you! I love White Rock... grew up in Vancouver and went there every Sunday to have a meal with Gramma and Grampa. It used to be a sleepy little town.
