1. The God of Sunflower commands you to rise up

Well if that didn't wotk, I have some
breaking news.

The first manned mission to the Sun is approaching
the surface of the Sun.

Yes, I said the Sun.

We go to mission control for this historical moment.

2. Here's some Chicken Soup for the Ego:
You're an amazing woman, and I wish I'd had half your energy and beauty, especially during the month of June. I love your talent and your intuition. We LOVE you here. :D

3. You look just like Thomas Mann!!
A history of SCTV that I scanned back when I had my own bookstore said that was the funniest line in show business. The SCTV comics were doing a travelling show and one of the guys backstage was complaining. "This audience sucks. It is nothing but recognition laughs. Mention Thomas Mann and you get a laugh."

So on the next skit, the complaining guy is trying on a suit for one reason or another, turns to the person he was complaining to, holds the suit up to himself and asks 'how do I look?' The other guy says "You look just like Thomas Mann!" and the audience exploded in laughter.

The first guy was ready to explode too, as he said later "Absolutely nothing funny about either the line or the delivery. People in the audience just want to show how smart they are, they go 'ha ha ha. I know who Thomas Mann is'."
