People! Your quick advice, please.
Edited on Fri Aug-04-06 11:22 PM by crim son
I'm being a good girl and staying home tonight. I've had one drink. SHOULD I HAVE ANOTHER? (hint: I really believe I should).

Okay, I am persuaded. Thanks for your valuable input. And Cheers!!

I'm amazingly unphotogenic yet I've posted a picture. Everybody is always so kind that it's an ego-boost even if you understand it's just politeness.

I wasn't truly implying anything with the comments about da monkeys.

But stay off the phone after twelve or so....

Many things are said on the phone that can not be said in person...

There was this Yugoslavian girl from college...

She was from Youngstown...

I called her after 10 or so shots of Jack...

Not a good idea...

56. It's an Austin made Vodka, very well crafted
It's distilled some ungodly number of times at different temps to distil out the different alcohols that create the bitterness, and the hangovers, in vodka. You have to taste it to understand it. It tastes cleaner and smoother than other vodkas. Some people think it is too clean, though--matter of taste, I guess. I like it, and vodka has always been my choice since before it was legal for me.

http://www.titos-vodka.com/

I can relate to the sudden poverty. Abandoning a spouse with a bank VP income has left me a bit light, too. But I think I'll live longer because of it!

Never heard of a greyhound. Sounds neat. Have to give it a try.

I won't say I don't care, I'm curious, but I don't really know. It's kind of fun. I can be anything without surprising people much.

I wouldn't have thought of you as a bimbo. You write like me, think about thinks like me, slip into bitter sarcasm like me (I use the back space a lot to hide that!). Maybe that means I'm a bimbo! Cool! I figured you were attractive, from some of the stories you told. Not that it matters here. Even when I've seen people's pictures here, I don't form visual images when I read them, I just form intellectual impressions.

67. That's how I look at people here, too.
For a while I had a small friendship with somebody on DU. The thing is, he knew me only from my posts, naturally, and he was constantly misjudging me, my thoughts, my motives. It didn't matter, but it did make me think about how limited is this form of communication, based as it is on the desire to post something of interest but not necessarily of substance. Much of what's truly important to me would be regarded as very dull in a chat room!

By the way, I consider it a compliment that you might think we share certain characterisitics.
