9. To me driving across CT is akin to gouging my eyes out with a spork.

Due to traffic and road construction, what should be 2.5 hours often turns into 4.5 hours.

In fact, I even sort of have a ritual of sorts driving back. Once, I get NY stations on the radio again, I do a little internal happy dance. Then, I do a second little internal happy dance crossing the Tappan Zee Bridge. Finally, I put on Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run as I cross the NY/NJ state line.

I like Stonington, CT. I just hate the drive.

6. My daughter and I during vacation

We did a nice tour to Sol Duc hot springs, the Hoh Rainforest in Western Washington before heading down the 101 to the Oregon coast.

A very large tree(approx 250ft) felled by NATURE(not Bush!) that will very slowly and beautifully become a nurse tree and bring new life to the forest.

So how do you prepare them? Do you just let them dry, or do you roast them in the oven? I love sunflower seeds, but have no idea how they are prepared.

I like garlic and jalepeno.






Then I bake them until a few are starting to brown.
