1. Now don't be so desperate. Everybody wants to get Layd.

Preferably the baked stuff; much less fat and carbs...

Oops, "Lays".

BTW:

I'd do better to eat the better chips . . . :gnashingteeth:

2. Bertha, I'm doing low carb and no sugar due to prediabetes, and
it sucks on ice. I can relate.

3. LOL "sucks on ice"
I have been pre-diabetes for a few years. Maybe longer, who knows. But I never did anything about it. So guess what I learned last week? :eyes:

Good for you for taking care of yourself.

5. I can relate
I was diabetic with both of my pregnancies (on insulin with my daughter). Tell me I have to limit my carbs and that is all I want to eat!

7. I have been unavoidably detained
due to medical problems. Hubby is in SoCal. I am in Minnesota for the moment. The health issues are starting to resolve though!

16. All of May & June, I had a lot of carbs,
almost no veggies, and a lot of red wine. I'd sunk into what I believed was an inextricable depression. In July, I STOPPED drinking wine (had maybe a couple beers at night after 9 or 10 PM), and got SICK of all that bread & pasta. I started swimming every day. (You remember how joyful it was to be in the ocean- *sigh!*) It was like actually getting MAD at the carbs and acting on it. I gave myself negative triggers when I started to want them; I kept a supply of "too many carbs are evil" type books on hand. I know you, lady, and I KNOW you're going to be just fine in spite of cravings. Hell, it helps just to post about them.

:D    :yourock: :yourock: :yourock:

17. Well done, Smacky. Way to overcome.
Me? I am effed today. Every day after Weds' surgery gets worse, not better. I've been attributing it to anaesthesia, but hell, i dunno. So today, I am not worried about carbs, because I have no appetite.

Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it so much. big fat
