Our little home office went dark.
Computer and TV black.
Ceiling fan quit.

But...in the bedroom...lights, fan, TV...all on.
Oh yeah.
Now I remember.
Check the ground interrupt circuit breaker on the bathroom wall plug.
Yep, it's tripped.
Re-set and all is well.

Ain't it interesting that the office is wired THROUGH the damned bathroom plug two rooms away?

Seriously; it went from "bone-dry" to "MAN THE LIFEBOATS!" in an hour and a half!!

5. I miss thunderstorms

We almost never get them here in the Bay Area and when we do, they're little piddling things that don't last (but get breathless front page reports in the paper).
