I had the day from HELL!!!

Ok, me and Mrs. Sniffa leave to go to NH, and first we got to the gas station...While i am pumping gas, I think the rubber nozzle cover has come off and gotten stuck on my gas tank filler thingy...So, I finish pumping and have Mrs. S get the attendant..he comes out, a teenager or close to it, and starts to fiddle with it...He takes about 5 min. and can't figure it out. So, the mechanic/resident asshole comes out and comes over... "What the fuck's going on here?"...He takes a look, fiddles with it, and says "There's nothing wrong with this thing..."...Turns to me and says "Yeah, why don't you do some more LSD?"...and pushes past me to go back inside. I was so stunned by this archaic slam, I was like "Excuse me? What did you say?"...He walks by and I just mutter "Fucker"...

So we get on the highway, and traffic is hell all the way through Boston...We get about 10 miles from the NH border when the left rear tire blows! My first blowout, yay!!...AAA won't come b/c sniffa isn't there, so I have to call them and spend $60 to sign up for AAA, wait an hour, and talk to State cops...AAA guy comes, fixes tire, and we leave...

Then, there is a water main blowout south of Boston, and traffic is 10-15 mph for about 20 miles...What should have been 1/2 hr home became about 2 hrs...

We are home now, drinking beer, and :smoke:...Safe and sound... :)

Edit: AND, Mrs. Sniffa missed her UPS package, and she's very upset about it... x(
