1. Welcome to the light!
My Netflix queue is currently 435 long! It's an obsession of mine. Whenever I think of a movie I want to see -- or see again -- I just add it to the list. You've got some great choices coming.

5. Yeah, mine is a bit extreme.
As I said, I'm obsessed. I've been a member for about 4 years. I'll spend hours ordering it and re-ordering it.

It's such a great service.

7. Cries and Whispers
The Education of Shelby Knox
Rabbit-Proof Fence
Bottle Rocket
The Rules of the Game
Baraka
With All Deliberate Speed
Billy Bragg and Wilco: Man in the Sand

I like Netflix because it allows me to get things my local video store never carries. The throttling isn't as bad as it used to be but that's probably because I'm not returning movies as quickly anymore.

I recently got rid of half the movies in my que because I realized that it was filled with movies I was only lukewarm about ever viewing.

8. I gave up on Netflix ages ago - their service sucks horribly
I live probably an hour from a distribution center in Easton MD and yet it took days for me to get my next set of rentals and this was a very common occurance.

And I'm not alone - there have been several class action lawsuits against Netflix for this practice.

10. agreed
but i live in the middle of nowhere, so the local video store with its mainstream crap is a lousy option

and blockbuster on line is lame - smaller selection, edited versions of everything... so i don't want to use them

yeah - when netflix is bad, it's very bad... the longer you are with them, the worse they get... so i drop it for a while & pick it up again

it's always fastest when you first sign up

11. Sounds like the Wal-mart scenario
where there's nothing around for miles and miles outside of Wal-Mart

God speed with Netflix!

9. Over 100 titles.
I'm obsessed.

At home I currently have Season 1 of the Closer. Next on the list is a Belgian film called "Memory of a Killer" or something like that...and then Season 1 of Weeds.
