10. The problem with Billy Jack
The message of the movie was fine. But it was so earnest that you couldn't help but laugh.

"Cabaret" was a great film.

8. Add "Star Wars" to your list, and it looks the same as mine.
Oh, and "The Sting" as well.

And, do I really need to mention the black "Private Dick" who was
a sex machine with all the chicks?

I thought not. :)

9. That was a great decade for movies. No way to list them all....
...here are a few. I know I'm leaving many out...

The Godfather
The Godfather II
Rollerball
Jeramiah Johnson
Three Days of the Condor
All the President's Men
Five Easy Pieces
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
Pat Garrett and Billy the Kidd
Pappillon
Little Big Man
Network
A Clockwork Orange
Barry Lyndon
Night Moves

...and the list goes on and on. There were some really great movies in the 70's. And what's more important, they were made for an audiance that wasn't 14 years old. They were made for an adult audiance, which is rare these days, unless one is talking about indie films.

17. Imo, the best film from the 70's.
And that's saying something, since the 70's were one of the greatest decades for film ever ("The Godfather", "Chinatown", "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", etc, etc)

19. Little Big Man (1970)
General Custer: What do you think I should do, Muleskinner? Should I go down there or withdraw?

Jack Crabb: General, you go down there, there are thousands of Indians down there, and when they get done with you, there won't be nothin' left but a greasy spot. You go down there if you got the nerve.

General Custer: Still trying to outsmart me, aren't you, Muleskinner? You want me to think that you don't want me to go down there, but the subtle truth is, you really don't want me to go down there.
