1. Actually, that's a good one for me, too.
Loved it in the theater, but I saw it recently and I thought it was horrible. Terrible dialog.

Saw it in the theatre way back in the day, recently caught some of it on TV. What a bunch of overacted, self-important, faux-angsty poop.

That was the other movie I was thinking of, but detest seemed maybe too strong.

Bogdanovich is precisely the fucking hack self-portrayed in The Killing of the Unicorn . He needs to put on the Wanky Panties and leave those Wanky Panties on, because he is a Wanker.

5. Who among us grasps the concept of "detesting a movie?"
How stupid is that? It is a movie, for fuck's sake. Any person who detests a movie has some kind of weird, deep personal problem. I repeat: It is a movie, not a chainsaw autopsy. :smoke:

8. Intensely disliking a movie is not an especially difficult concept.
And at least a chainsaw autopsy has no victims.

9. "The Towering Inferno" USED to be a favorite of mine
I tried to watch it not too long ago and was appalled...couldn't believe that I really enjoyed it first time around...and all those wonderfully talented stars, too.

10. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
It's still clever in spots, but it seems overlong and precocious, and a little too impressed with its cleverness...hasn't worn well for me...

I thought Chris Tucker's stupid lines were the funniest thing ever when I was 12. Not so much anymore.
