Yummy Dinner at Chez Retro this evening...
I found this stuff at the store called Hamburger Helper and it is really quite amazing. :applause:

It comes in a box with rather simple instructions and all you need is a pound of beef, some water, milk and butter, and in 15 minutes or so you have a meal fit for a king. Pasta, noodles, rice, whatever, they have it!

Lots of different varieties too! I hear they make Tuna and Chicken helper too! :wow:

What will they think of next?

16. LOL. My son adores it.
They stopped selling the 'family size' here, so I have to stretch it with mac and cheese. He begs for it. As a snack.

4. I like their "lasanga"
It doesn't have anything to do with lasanga other than it having noodles, and meat, and a sauce that was once tomato. But it tastes good in a processed food kind of way.

5. The lasagna is my favorite, and there is another one that really
rocks the Casbah; I think it's some kind of Mexican taco something-or-other.

13. Whoohooo
I love to cook! I'll have you know that along with my colleague, we are the 2006 Iron Chef winners at work. The prestigious big wooden fork with our names/date on a beautifully engraved brass plate resides in my office right now to prove it.

Looks like this but minus the spoon! Nothing but high class where I work.

17. Well, according to Cousin Eddie, "I don't know why they call it
Hamburger Helper. It does just fine by itself!" Apparently Clark Griswald didn't agree, though...
