Ahh the DU Lounge --a great place to unwind and exaggerate..
There are certainly more serious threads for more serious discussions.
However this great little Lounge is tolerant of and almost expected of exaggerations and stretches of imaginations.

It is a place where one can sek humor when a more serious tone has been misinterpreted.

So I'm, suppose to be going to Vegas with a friend next weekend.
He's buying the trip but I don't think I want to find out the strings attached..

hmmm
What to do..

35. Luxor, for a place to stay. Super cool.
Anyplace is a good place to play, except for three places: Circus Circus, New York, New York, and the Stardust. They are too claustrophobic. Bellagio is great.

Yes, it's a cute little, harmless lounge, isn't it? Wouldn't hurt a fly. Really, no... really, it wouldn't. :D

I'm sure is was a completely innocent thing..not intentional by any means.
Afterall we're all one big happy family
That's what I'm told.

---------
Anyway We're staying at Mandalay Bay..that's about all I know as far as the itinerary.

I may suddenly decide to work that weekend.
My daughter was in Vegas a couple months ago, for her 21st B-Day and I think I'd rather go with her...
Anyway...

I think it would be a great place to gather together as family & friends for such a celebration..Its got something for everyone!

Congratulations on your wedded bliss, dear!

Many happy return trips to Vegas as you celebrate every anniversary!
Have fun!

Did you have a big affair? Family, friends, food, etc, or was it casual?

I was told many Hotels in Vegas have very nice wedding packages to offer their clients.

Tell more?

18. Yep that's just how I see it too.
Nice cozy bunch of people after the same cause.
All supporting each other.
All wanting the same thing for our world.

Peace, harmony, All we need is love, man..

I'll start with peace and no more wars for now.
I'll start with no more Bush policies for this world.

We'll have to work on things like poverty, ignorance and racial hate crimes that destroy and divide the good progress from taking place.

We'll have to work at changing the minds of those who insist on defending these ills.
MLK and RFk..many who worked and gave their lives to teach human beings about stepping beyond racial hate.
They've been here and left their messages..sad that many just didn't get it.
Perhaps its time to rise up and repeat what these hero's original message was.

Maybe its one of those things that needs repeating for every new generation.
Somebody just isn't getting it and governments don't care.
Its up to we, the people then.
