Do any of you know of the LA Gourmet Pizza restaurant in Dallas? I didn't think they had any outside of the bluegrass region of Ky. They make the best pizzas in town. I don't know about their Dallas location. Any experience with them?

But to this Chicagoan, the words "LA Gourmet Pizza" and "Greek Pizza" sound like oxymorons. ;)

I just want to see how it compares to other regional tastes.

I personally like the people who own the place. Back in the 90's they used to call their place West Coast Gourmet Pizza. I used to get their Hot and Hotter pizza. it would set your world on fire. Their hot chicken wings are pretty good too. The local one is just take out, which is fine with me because the AC is not that good there.

Our veterans group is thinking of having our 2007 reunion up in Chicago, so we will get to try out some of Chicago's best.

I wonder if Othan Oschner ever opened his Italian restaurant up in Chicago. He wanted to open a place that specialized in Northern Italian cooking. This guy is a gourmet, knows his food and drink. If he did open up, I know it has to be a three star restaurant at the least.
