The lady on the HughesNet commercial

drives me inexplicably NUTS. I can't stand the faces she makes. Last night the commercial came on, and I instantly became so disgruntled that I began burrowing through my bowl of popcorn, digging for unpopped kernals that I could whip at her face. My husband was disappointingly unsupportive of my endeavor. Ever just take an immediate, bizarre dislike to someone, based on their body language and/or facial expressions?

1. She, like the lady Zora Somebody on the NutriSystem ads,

has practiced her facial expressions in a mirror. A lot. The smirk+eyeroll is a dead giveaway.

It is very obvious, and very fake.

3. It is my theory that they chose her

Because they think she is the archtypical married-woman-next-door-that-you-want-to-have-an-affair-with. Hughes(Directv) thus think she is a good spokesperson, an articulate, and safe sexpot that half the human population would like:shrug: Just my opinion.
