1. What are we voting on? Most racist? Shittiest food? Best food?
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 12:44 PM by Rabrrrrrr
Worst service? Most likely to cause brain hemmorhage from listening to ignorant conversation of loud big-haired Christian Fundy floozies and their polo-shirt wearing third-tier businessmen loser husbands at next table? Most destructive to the American psyche? Most destructive to American culture, what little of it there is? Most likely to cause health problems due to lack of actual food and high amount of chemical additives? Biggest stain on the American landscape? Most unlike actual food? Least educated waitstaff? Least cultured clientelle? Most stereotypically wrong faux-nostalgic decor?

30. Neither
Those restaurants haven't expanded into Canada yet that I know of. Good thing from what I've read on this thread. But we have our own awful restos here already. For awful faux Italian food, East Side Marios. Outback Steak House if you like your steak to have the consistency of a tire. etc.

3. CRACKER BARREL DAMMIT!
I have never eaten at an Olive Garden, and I won't judge those who do.

Plus, Cracker Barrel sells cool toys like the "Gee-Haw Whimmy Diddle"! :D

you can get a passable glass of wine. :)

10. I have to go with Olive Garden too
hell the soup and salad thing is a freakin' soup and salad thing. It's pretty hard to screw up a salad...unless it is made at Cracker Barrel. BLAND ass food that you wait 45 minutes to eat so they can try to sell you a rocking chair.

7. I'd rather shit in an Olive Garden bathroom than piss in a
Cracker Barrel parking lot. I'd rather eat from a local dumpster than inside either choice.

9. I like Olive Garden, and have never been to a Cracker Barrel
Olive Garden has some really good items. I love the seafood portifino, the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks, etc. Plus, the good wine thing. I can always get a decent glass of Pinot Grigio there.

I refuse to eat in any restaurant that is known for discriminating against gay people (or any other group of people). Cracker Barrel has a reputation for firing workers when management finds out they are gay.

13. Of course, but Olive Garden will do when I can't afford Andiamo
Or any of the excellent, but expensive, local italian places.

I took my mom to Andiamo at tax refund time. It was an $85 dinner-every bite was worth it, though.

23. I guess I'm lucky.
Around here you can get expensive Italian or you can go to a mom & pop place that's going to be really good and cost about as much as the Olive Garden.

I'm at a loss as to how to articulate it in plain text, but that 'neither' should be delivered so frostily as to have icicles hanging from it.

41. I pick neither!
Because apparently I am a food snob (which seems to entail actually wanting to eat edible food). As opposed to being an anti-snob snob, who want to eat good food too but don't go to chain restaturants for the RIGHT reasons, like their wage practices or food sourcing.
