I'm eating lunch at my desk! Ask me anything!

I'm actually taking a little lunch break. How's everyone?

I actually pack my lunch in a lunch box. Can you guess what kind of lunchbox I have?

If you don't feel like guessing or asking me a question, here's a random question for you:

How do you feel about the WTC movie?

I saw a preview on Sunday night and I was really angry that they would just spring that on us. I felt they should have warned us that thay were going to show it. I wasn't the only one in the theater who burst into tears. Not that the movie even looked that emotionally compelling, but just to have the whole thing shoved in my face without warning.

Anyway, I'm sure there's been LOADS of discussion about this, but I hardly get to visit anymore, so I've missed it.

:hi:

3. MrG has a lunchbox too...with a Thermos and everything!!
I pack it up everyday.

I am not too concerned with the WTC movie. I think we need to move on from 9/11. I know that sounds harsher than I want it too. Remember the dead, never forget, but let's don't hinge the rest of our story on it.

6. My lunch box is too small for a thermos.
I just think it's too hard to do a dramatization of a major event within the same generation. It just can't be done without either being too cliche, too cheesy, too sentimental, too beholden to varieties of interested parties to be objective. How can there be perspective? And too many people in this region are still basically walking around with PTSD. It's just not fair to spring the previews on us.

My husband disagrees, and he's the one who actually worked at the WTC.

I'll live, but I just don't think it's right. I guess the only thing that could redeem it for me is if it holds the Bush Administration accountable.

7. I guess they actually conferred with the men, and many say it's
amazing. I will probably see it. I just have a hard time dealing with that day.
