What does it say about the workforce . . . re: testing for employment

What does it say about the workforce when one aces all the tests and makes the tester say "wow?" It was clear that she had rarely seen such competence. And this was for a public schools job.

If I don't get hired, I'm going to have even more serious doubts. . . .

2. Don't mean a thing ...

I had to take a software developer knowledge test for a potential job. The director of development called me later that day and said I had the highest score he's seen, 91%, and asked me to come back the next day for another interview.

Went back for 2 interviews, but didn't get the job.

3. I used to apply for a lot of government jobs

for which a test was given. I would always do well on the test and be invited to an interview, which, of course, was the end of the line for me.
