We're having a Puppy Party!

My springer spaniel Champ normally spends his days outside with the neighbors two pups, a tough little heinz 57 named Cinders and a goofy doberman mix named Baby Girl. Today, roofers are coming, and since the three Beasts From Hell go apeshit around strangers, I'm babysitting.

Just before 8am I'll get them and we'll all pile up in the waterbed (which they adore) and watch movies. Then we'll all have treats and take a nap. Off and on we'll play on the computer and take walks.

Sounds like a fun day. I can't wait!

1. Sounds like lots of fun
I miss having dogs in the family since my brother's dog died last year. I can't have dogs where I live.

I have two lovely cats to have kitten parties with but it's not the same.

Wish I had a huge house with a friendly enclosed backyard where I could keep dogs and cats around.

2. Heinz 57?
In the Formula 1 newsgroup I hang around (news://news.f1ngers.com/F1NGers) people call driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen "Heinz57". It's a dog? I thought it was mustard.

3. Cinders is a mix of so many different breeds
I couldn't even guess her parentage. She's short, very stocky, strong as a horse and could easily pull a donkey cart.

Heinz used to advertise that they offered 57 different products.
